Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Peeps Lab di Biscione Valerio ("we", "us") processes personal data when you use AI Peeps: Chat & Create (the "App"), an Android app where you create AI characters ("Peeps"), chat with them by text or voice, and create images and short videos of them. It is written in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and applicable Italian law.
The App uses your AI Peeps account: you sign in with Google or with your email address, and the same account, Peeps and PeepCoins balance are available wherever you use AI Peeps.
1. Data Controller
AI Peeps Lab di Biscione Valerio
Via Fura 108, 25125 Brescia (BS), Italy
VAT number (Partita IVA): 06062320657

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Privacy requests can be sent to the email above.
2. Data we process
- Account data: email address, display name and account identifier (from Google Sign-In or from your email sign-in), profile settings such as the interface language, PeepCoins balance and subscription status.
- Peeps you create: the name, look, personality, backstory and other details you choose, and whether you keep the Peep private or share it.
- Chat messages: the messages you exchange with Peeps, and memory summaries that let a Peep remember earlier parts of a conversation.
- Voice: if you use voice features, the audio you record is processed by speech providers to turn it into text, or, if you create a custom voice, to build that voice. Voice features are optional.
- Images and videos: the prompts and settings you use and the images and videos the App creates for you, stored in your account.
- Purchases: when purchases are available in the App they are handled by Google Play. We receive the order identifier, the product, the amount and its status, not your card details.
- Reports and support: the content of reports you send about a Peep, an image or a message, and of any message you send us.
- Technical data: app version, device and operating system, request logs, error reports and security signals (for example IP address and timestamps) needed to run and protect the service.
The App does not show advertising, does not use advertising identifiers and does not track you for advertising purposes. We do not sell personal data.
3. Why we process it and on which legal basis
- To provide the App (accounts, Peeps, chats, voice, images and videos, PeepCoins): performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the App safe (check messages, prompts and generated media against our content rules, handle reports, prevent abuse and fraud): our legitimate interest and, where applicable, legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(f) and (c)).
- To process purchases and keep accounting records: performance of a contract and legal obligations.
- To fix errors and improve the App using technical logs and aggregated statistics: our legitimate interest.
- To send service emails about your account and purchases: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest.
4. Content checks
The App is meant for general-audience content. Messages, prompts and generated images and videos are checked by automated systems, including AI models run by our infrastructure providers. Content that does not meet our rules is not shown. Chats are not routinely read by people; a person may review content you report, or content flagged by our systems, when needed for safety, support or legal reasons.
5. Who receives the data
We share personal data only with providers that help us run the App, and only as needed:
- Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Google Play): sign-in, account database and, when available, purchases.
- Cloudflare (R2 storage and content delivery): storage and delivery of images and videos.
- Application hosting and GPU compute providers: run our backend and the image, video and voice models.
- AI model providers (such as DeepInfra and OpenRouter): run the language, speech and safety models that write Peep replies, transcribe voice and check content.
- Email providers: deliver service emails.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not use your chats, prompts or media to train our own AI models.
6. Shared Peeps
If you choose to share a Peep, its name, description and pictures can be seen by other users, who can chat with it. Your chats stay private: other users never see your conversations.
7. How long we keep it
- Account data, Peeps, chats and media: for as long as your account exists, or until you delete them.
- Purchase and invoicing records: for the period required by Italian tax and accounting law (up to 10 years).
- Technical logs: for a limited period needed for security and diagnostics.
- Moderation and abuse records: for as long as needed to prevent repeated abuse and meet legal obligations.
8. Deleting your data
You can delete single chats, images, videos and Peeps at any time from the App. You can delete your whole account from your user panel in the App, or by writing to us. The page Delete your account explains the steps and what is deleted and kept.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Write to admin@aipeeps.com; we may need to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
10. Age
The App is intended for users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be announced in the App.
